# Sample transcript: discovery sales call

A second fictional transcript for the reuse test. Start a new chat, attach this file and say only: "Use meeting_followup on this meeting." You should get the same structure and rules without explaining them again.

What a good result should catch:
- The speakers are unlabeled in part of the call. The agent should say so instead of guessing who spoke.
- "Early next month" is not a date. The proposal should keep those exact words and be flagged as vague, not turned into an invented date.
- Zeel commits to sending two case studies by Wednesday. That is a commitment to the prospect.
- The budget is unresolved: the prospect gave a range, not an approval.
- Nothing was decided about a pilot. It must not appear as a decision.

**Meeting:** Discovery call, Northwind Logistics
**Date:** Tuesday 22 September 2026
**Attendees:** Zeel (KnowAI), Daniel (Northwind, COO), a second Northwind attendee (name not given)

**Zeel:** Thanks for jumping on, Daniel. I'd love to hear what made you reach out.

**Daniel:** So we've got about forty people in dispatch and they spend a crazy amount of time answering "where's my shipment" emails. Probably two hours a day each. We want to know if an agent can take the first pass.

**Zeel:** That's a really common one. Where do those emails come in today?

**Daniel:** Shared inbox, Outlook. And the tracking data is in our TMS, which has an API, I think. Our IT person would know.

**Unknown speaker:** It does, but it's rate-limited. We'd need to check.

**Zeel:** Okay, that's useful. What would success look like for you in three months?

**Daniel:** Honestly if half those emails get answered without a human, that's a big win.

**Zeel:** Makes sense. What I'd suggest is I send you two case studies from similar setups, one logistics and one e-commerce support, so you can see what it looked like. I'll get those to you by Wednesday.

**Daniel:** Great.

**Unknown speaker:** What about budget, roughly what are we looking at?

**Zeel:** Depends on scope. Could you share a range you're working with?

**Daniel:** We've been thinking somewhere between fifteen and twenty-five thousand for the first phase, but I'd need to take anything to the CFO.

**Zeel:** That's helpful. We could maybe start with a small pilot on one inbox.

**Daniel:** Possibly. Let's see the case studies first.

**Zeel:** Sure. And then I'll put together a proposal, probably early next month.

**Daniel:** Sounds good. Someone should also loop in our IT lead about the API, but I'm not sure who on our side.

**Zeel:** Okay. Talk soon.
