KnowAI Emergent Guide

BUILD 01

Client management dashboard

Single view of every client, what stage they're at, what's been invoiced, and which follow- ups are overdue. Replaces the four-tabs-and-a-spreadsheet setup most service businesses live with.

THE PROMPT
Build me a dashboard where I can see every client, what stage they're at (lead, proposal, active, completed), what's been invoiced and what's pending, and which follow-ups are overdue. Let me add notes against each client and update statuses without leaving the page. Show me the totals at the top: active clients, outstanding invoices, follow-ups due this week.

This is the one I built first. Took an afternoon. Sent my first invoice from it the same evening.

BUILD 02

Lead tracker with source attribution

Where leads came from, what they're worth, where they are in the pipeline. Stops you guessing which channel is actually working.

THE PROMPT
Build a lead tracker. Each lead has a name, source (Instagram, LinkedIn, referral, paid ads, podcast, other), estimated deal size, status (new, contacted, qualified, proposal, won, lost), last contact date, and next action with a due date. Show me a monthly summary of which source is converting best, and flag any lead that hasn't been contacted in the last 7 days.

Most founders run a pipeline in their head. Two months in this tool and you stop guessing where your money actually comes from.

BUILD 03

Content calendar that knows what's overdue

Topics, draft status, channels, dates. One source of truth instead of Notion plus Google Calendar plus a screenshot folder.

THE PROMPT
Build me a content calendar. Each entry has a topic, format (reel, carousel, post, email, podcast), draft status (idea, scripted, recorded, edited, posted), channel, planned publish date, and actual posted date. Flag anything that's overdue. Give me a weekly view and a monthly view, and a small stat at the top showing how many pieces I've shipped this month versus last.

Creators don't have a content problem. They have a tracking problem. Fix the tracking and the output follows.

BUILD 04

Invoice and payment tracker

Who owes you what, when it's due, when it's actually paid. Makes cash flow legible without a separate accounting tool.

THE PROMPT
Build an invoice tracker. Each row has client name, invoice number, amount, currency, date sent, due date, status (sent, paid, overdue), and payment method. Show total outstanding and total received this month at the top. Highlight any invoice that's more than 14 days overdue and let me click it to draft a follow-up email.

Money you've earned but haven't collected isn't earned yet. This tool makes that uncomfortable in the right way.

BUILD 05

Internal SOP library

A searchable repository of how-we-do-things, with checklists you can actually use. New hires onboard themselves instead of asking you the same five questions.

THE PROMPT
Build me an internal SOP library. Each SOP has a title, category (sales, marketing, ops, finance, hiring), owner, last updated date, a short description, and a step-by-step checklist where each step can be marked complete. Let me search across all SOPs by keyword and filter by category. When a checklist is started, save the progress so it can be picked up later.

Process work doesn't scale because it lives in your head. The minute it lives somewhere else, the business stops needing you for every detail.

The shift that matters

Plain English is now the programming language. The skill isn't typing — it's describing what you actually need with enough detail that the system can build it.

Each prompt above is roughly four sentences. That's the bar. If you can write a clear paragraph about what you want a tool to do, you can build it tonight.

Pick the one you need most, paste the prompt in, and see what comes back. The first version won't be perfect. The second usually is.
