The $100 Stack
By Zeel Jain
Claude Max, Supabase, Vercel. One hundred dollars a month, total. Two of them free. This is the stack I'd use to build pretty much any SaaS, internal tool, or product idea worth shipping today. Here's what each one is for, what it replaces, and how you actually use them together.
Three tools.
Thats's the whole build.

THE STACK
Three roles, three tools
01 · Claude Max · $100/month
The engineer.
Claude Code writes the application: frontend, backend, database queries, deployment scripts. You describe what you want, it builds it. The Max plan gives you enough usage to ship real apps, not just toys.
02 · Supabase · free
The backend.
Database, authentication, file storage, real-time updates; everything you'd otherwise hire a backend engineer for, in one dashboard. The free tier covers most apps until you've got real paying customers.
03 · Vercel · free
The infrastructure.
Where the app actually lives on the internet. Push code, Vercel hosts it, hands you a URL, handles SSL and scaling. The free tier handles real traffic, most founders never need to upgrade.
THE MATH
What you're cancelling
Most founders are paying agencies, engineers, and ops teams to build on the exact same stack. The numbers people quote you to do this work haven't caught up to what the stack actually costs.
THE WORKFLOW
How it actually goes
- Open Claude Code. Describe what you're trying to build.
- Claude wires up Supabase for the database and auth without you touching SQL.
- Claude writes the app, pushes it to Vercel, hands you a live URL.
- You're in production in an afternoon, not a quarter.
The barrier was never the tools. It was thinking you needed more of them.
